Pragyan Ojha explains the reason why Rohit backs Kohli

Virat Kohli is no ordinary player and he has proved it over the years with his amazing batting display in international cricket. Not only India, but the former Indian captain has also won matches for the Indian team overseas as well, especially in white-ball cricket. After his constant failures in the last 3 years, there is a section of fans who are voting for Kohli’s removal from the T20 squad but Pragyan Ojha explains why team India is backing Virat Kohli for the T20 World Cup.

The current captain of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma has always come out in support of Virat Kohli ever since the batsman hit a rough patch. He along with the head coach Rahul Dravid has never doubted Kohli’s ability to be a match-winner and Pragyan Ojha explains why the management has been backing Kohli even after so many failures.

“When you speak about Virat Kohli, you have to comprehend what he has accomplished it is not normal. Getting those 70 hundred in about ten years is incredible. They (Dravid & Rohit) are aware that once he receives that one blow, things will change and Kohli would revert to his previous form. The bar was set so high when he used to bat and make hundreds that now we do not talk about Virat getting a 30 or 40,” Pragyan Ojha explains in an interview with journalist Jamie Alter.

As for now, Kohli is on a break and has time to work on his batting.
