The Indian top-order batter Prithvi Shaw is rearing to go in the English County One-Day Cup starting from the 1st of August. Shaw has been out of the Indian team since 2021 when he last played an ODI game against Sri Lanka. Now the news has come across that the 23 years old will play in the English County championship.

The national team has sidelined the talented Indian batter even after several match-winning performances in first-class cricket. His performance in the first BGT test of 2021 at Adelaide has made the young player’s chances vague in the national team.

The explosive right-handed batter has played 53 List-A games in which he has scored 2627 runs. Not to mention his first-class records are also quite impressive as he averages above 50 with 3802 runs in 44 matches.
