The breathtaking incident happened during the Multan Sultans’ run-chase when Imad Wasim deceived Yasir Khan with a length ball. The right-handed batter who was batting at a low strike rate and with no boundary or a six to his name took the clear shot by smashing the ball towards the deep mid-wicket for a maximum. As it turned out, Jordan Cox made a superb effort by sprinting towards the boundary rope.

He realized that he would lose his balance as he was close to touching the boundary rope and even before that, he had realized that Alex Hales was backing him up for the catch. Meanwhile, Cox threw the ball towards Hales and the England international completed the catch. Yasir Khan made his way back to the dugout after scoring 7 runs. Multan Sultans had the last laugh in the battle as they won by 5 wickets with a ball to spare.
