The third Test of the ongoing Test series between England and India is turning out to be a nightmare for the visitors. It all started after Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first. Though the toss went India’s way this time, everything else went England’s way right from Day 1. Team India must have hoped for a good start after they opted to bat, but all their hopes were shattered by the GOAT James Anderson. After a dismal first inning for Team India, R Ashwin’s Twitter post is making netizens confused.
James Anderson jolted India in his first spell on Day 1 as he accounted for three big fish in the form of KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli. All of them were caught behind as Anderson trapped them in the channel just outside off stump. Other English bowlers were effective too and consequently, India was bundled up for a measly 78 in the first inning, leaving a lot of burden for the bowlers.

R Ashwin has been a champion bowler for the Indian team whether it is in Asia or on foreign soil. However, the seasoned campaigner has not yet featured in any of the Tests played against England so far. A lot of eyebrows were raised after Ashwin was not selected in the playing XI right from the first Test. Many fans disapproved of this move by the Indian team and now R Ashwin’s Twitter post has left the netizens confused.

R Ashwin posted two pictures of himself on Twitter where he can be seen batting left-handedly. Interestingly, Ashwin is a right-hander and bats right-handedly. Many fans were left confused after seeing R Ashwin’s Twitter post and they reacted to it instantly. In reality, the pictures Ashwin posted are mirrored images of him. The fans will be hoping to see Ashwin in the next Test match for sure.

As for the third Test match, team India is way behind after the end of 2nd day’s play as team England lead by a whopping 345 runs with an inning to play.
