R Premadasa Stadium Colombo Pitch Report
The Pitch at the R Premadasa Stadium is of a batting-friendly nature. The batters generally enjoy their time here and tend to play their shots with ease. The pacers might receive a bit of help initially however later on it will be the spinners who will play an important role. Like any other Sri Lankan pitch, the R Premadasa Stadium pitch as well has a significant bit of assistance in it for the spinners. The pitch tends to slow down as the match progresses and largely assists the slow bowlers. The low bounce also adds up as a bit of trouble for batters here.

It has been seen at the R Premadasa Stadium that the dew plays a major role and affects the results of the games here. Hence any side after winning the toss here would be looking to bowl first.
