Pakistan will play both their warm-up matches at the Hyderabad Cricket Stadium along with their first match of the league stage on the 6th of October. The two warm-up games of Pakistan against New Zealand and Australia will be great training grounds as they will face the Netherlands at the same stadium.

New Zealand’s prime batter Kane Williamson is also expected to make his return in the warmup game against Pakistan. Kane played his last International game in January this year.

The wicket at this venue is perfectly balanced as there is an equal amount of assistance for both bowlers and the batters. During the first innings, the ball tends to come nicely onto the bat and stroke-making is easy compared to second innings.
Under lights, the ball starts moving at this venue and fast bowlers do trouble the batters with seam movement.
The toss winner would like to bat first on this pitch as it is difficult to chase the target at this venue.
