Each edition of the Indian Premier League brings out the best of the fielding and the 14th edition is no less. The fans have witnessed some extraordinary effort on the field this year and the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings saw an amazing running catch by the leggie Ravi Bishnoi. It was an unbelievable effort by the bowler and it left everyone surprised.

The 21st match of the Indian Premier League was a low-scoring affair as KKR restricted PBKS to a paltry score of 123 after winning the toss and opting to bowl first. Punjab Kings’ batsmen struggled to get going as KKR bowlers made life difficult for them with their accurate and sensible bowling. Mayank Agarwal and Chris Jordan were the only batsmen who got into the 30s.

Ravi Bishnoi took a brilliant running catch

The Punjab Kings could only manage 123 in their quota of 20 overs, courtesy of tight bowling from the KKR camp. The top order of KKR struggled to pace their innings and fell cheaply, however, the skipper Eoin Morgan along with Rahul Tripathi steadied the ship and the former took his team home. PBKS lost the match, but the catch of Ravi Bishnoi was the silver lining for the team.

Arshdeep Singh was bowling to Narine in the third over. The batsman tried to slog the ball for a boundary at deep mid-wicket, but Ravi Bishnoi sprinted and dived full length to complete one of the best catches of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. However, the catch couldn’t resist the loss for PBKS, it definitely made for a great moment in the match.
