LSG pacer Naveen ul Haq was brutally mocked with wild ‘Kohli’ chants by the spectators at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata during the LSG vs KKR game. Naveen ul Haq then silenced the crowd at the Eden Gardens as Ravi Bishnoi took a brilliant catch but it was latter’s reaction that caught the attention of the cricket fans.
Ravi Bishnoi’s reaction during the LSG vs KKR clash sparks a meme fest
In the 14th over of KKR innings, LSG pacer Yash Thakur managed to get Rahmanullah Gurbaz dismissed when the KKR batter went for an expansive drive and ended up skying the slower one high into the sky. Ravi Bishnoi, stationed at the backward point position, managed to grab the catch on his third attempt.
Naveen ul Haq came running in from the sweeper cover to provide some cover to Bishnoi. Once the catch was completed, Naveen was left elated at Bishnoi’s successful attempt. He then turned back to the Eden Gardens crowd and made a silence gesture towards them in response to those ‘Kohli’ chants.
The gesture was quite interesting as neither the ball was delivered by Naveen ul Haq nor did he grab the catch. It was Ravi Bishnoi who took the catch and the leg spinner had a pretty interesting reaction as Naveen tried silencing the crowd.

It all started in the 2nd over of the KKR chase when LSG skipper Krunal Pandya handed Naveen with the new ball. He started off with a shorter delivery outside the off and Jason Roy failed to make contact. On the next delivery, he shimmied down the track to pick the length ball from outside off and smashed it through mid-on for a boundary.
Jason Roy once again attacked Naveen as he smoked the third ball into the sight screen for an 81-meter six and followed it up with another four through the backward point region. Throughout that entire over the crowd at Eden Gardens broke into wild ‘Kohli’ chants.
Naveen ul Haq bowled exceedingly well in the 15th and 17th over of KKR innings. He conceded only 6 and 5 runs respectively but was then smashed for 20 runs by KKR star batter Rinku Singh in his final over.
