Ravi Shastri Gets Trolled For His Comment “Bhaad Me Gaya Pitch”

Since Ravi Shastri took over India’s Head Coach’s position fans have trolled him for several reasons. Last year, during the tour of Australia he had made a hilarious remark, which later became a meme material. In the same tour, he came out from bus drinking beer as a celebration of India’s win in 3rd Test against Australia. The coach was brutally trolled after the video went viral.

Many times Shastri has been trolled for his bizarre candid moments. Recently, during the 3rd test match against South Africa, Shastri’s picture of taking a nap in the dressing room went viral. Netizens dropped comments like- Drinks at will, ‘Sleeping Coach’, #RaviShastri is the reincarnation of Kumbhkaran’, takes naps during office time, gets paid in crores for sleeping and many others.

Now, after the 3-0 series win against South Americans, Ravi Shastri has replied to his trollers. Indian coach said that troll doesn’t bother him. When asked about sleeping in the dressing room, Shastri said he watches every delivery in the match. Shastri said to Mid-day, “Enjoy, Enjoy….I don’t care what people say. I don’t miss a single ball,”

Shastri said, “Bhaad me gaya pitch”

Shastri said that team’s motto was to take pitches out of the equation to ensure victories. He said, “Bhaad me gaya pitch (to hell with the pitches),” However, after this comment Shastri once again found himself becoming a meme material.

First, Ravi Shastri appointed as coach in 2017 till World cup 2019. Under his coaching, India played two ICC tournaments (Championship Trophy 2017 and World Cup 2019). The team played exceptionally well both tournament except at the two crucial matches final and semi-final.

His contract was over after the 2019 World cup. However, BCCI had reappointed him at the post following selection criteria. Now, Ravi Shastri is eying the next two T20 world cups in 2020 and 2021.
