Recently, the cricketer was in news for his alleged rift with the Chennai Super Kings after he deleted all the posts related to CSK from his Instagram handle. Now, Ravindra Jadeja reveals how he has been handling the rumours that have been spread about him.

Team India is going to play Hong Kong in their second match of the Asia Cup 2022 and during a press conference, Ravindra Jadeja reveals what’s going on in his mind regarding the rumours about him. The southpaw mentioned that he doesn’t care about the rumours about him and is focusing on his game only. The all-rounder also mentioned that he is very well aware of the rumours about him but he is not distressed because of them.

“You have mentioned a very minor example (of a rumour) that I won’t be available for the World Cup. In between, there was a rumour that I had died. It can’t get bigger than this. I don’t think about all these (rumours). I focus on going to the ground, playing, and performing well for the country. I want to improve on whatever is needed to perform well for my team. Day in and day out, I practice bowling, batting, and fielding,” Jadeja was quoted saying in India Today.

Team India started their Asia Cup 2022 campaign on a winning note as they beat Pakistan by 5 wickets in their opening match. Ravindra Jadeja played a pivotal role in India’s victory as the all-rounder notched up a crucial 52-run partnership with Hardik Pandya. Though Jadeja fell in the last over, he made sure that his team was able to cross the finishing line with ease.
