The IPL 2025 season is just around the corner, with hardly 20 days left for the kick-off. Meanwhile, franchises have started making major announcements ahead of the season, including captaincy appointments, new staff additions, and jersey reveals.
RCB’s Jersey For IPL 2025
Amidst this, photos of Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s IPL 2025 jersey have surfaced on social media. Virat Kohli is seen wearing the new RCB jersey in an interview with Jatin Sapru. The jersey now features black instead of blue. In 2024, RCB sported a red-and-blue combination, but they have now returned to their classic red-and-black look. The jersey design remains largely similar to the 2024 version.
In IPL 2025, Qatar Airways continues as RCB’s principal sponsor, having been associated with the team since 2023. Meanwhile, Birla Estates has joined as the associate sponsor, while PUMA remains the kit sponsor.

RCB Ahead of IPL 2025
In IPL 2025, RCB will play under their new captain, Rajat Patidar, while the franchise has retained Andy Flower as head coach. Dinesh Karthik, who retired after IPL 2024, has been appointed as the team’s batting coach.
This season, Phil Salt is likely to take over the wicketkeeping duties, with Jitesh Sharma also available as an Indian wicketkeeping option. RCB’s batting lineup looks strong, featuring Salt, Kohli, and Patidar in the top order, while the middle order boasts power hitters like Liam Livingstone and Tim David.
In the all-round department, Krunal Pandya is expected to play a key role as a spin all-rounder throughout the tournament. Among the pacers, Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar bring valuable experience, while Yash Dayal’s talent adds depth to the attack.
