On Monday, the 30th match of the ongoing IPL edition has been postponed after the positive Covid reports of 2 KKR players. So far BCCI has not announced the new date for RCB vs KKR match 2021, but there are some possibilities of dates on which rescheduled match can be expected. Currently, the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League is at halfway with the remaining 25 matches of the first round. Meanwhile, after BCCI’s confirmation of postponed the 30th match, there will be a challenge for the management for deciding the new date for RCB vs KKR match 2021. Actually, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, teams can’t travel much and they have to only play at limited venues.
The news of Postponing the match has been announced by IPL management on their Twitter handle and also through their official website. They tweeted, “UPDATE: IPL reschedules today’s #KKRvRCB match after two KKR players test positive. #VIVOIPL.” The two KKR players who tested positive are Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier.

RCB vs KKR Match New Date 2021
IPL management is yet to announce the new date for the 30th match but here are some possibilities of dates on which fans can expect the rescheduled game. Currently, both KKR and RCB are in Ahmedabad and BCCI will definitely try to reschedule the match at the same venue. It is worth mentioning that RCB will play their last match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 6th May and KKR on 8th May.
Thereafter, RCB will move to Kolkatta and KKR to Bengaluru for their rest of the matches of the tournament. So BCCI will definitely be going to organise the re-match before the 8th of May. In between 4th and 8th May, RCB and KKR will have to play 1-1 match each. Royal Challengers Bangalore to play against Punjab Kings on 6th May 2021 at Narendra Modi Stadium. And Kolkatta Knight Riders to play against Delhi Capitals on 8th May 2021 at Narendra Modi Stadium.

So fans can expect RCB vs KKR’s second outing of the tournament either on 5th May or 7th May 2021. Earlier in the first outing, Royal Challengers Bangalore had beaten up Kolkatta Knight Riders at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai by 38 runs.
