Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators: List of records broken

PSL Records

1. Fastest 100: Playing just his second game of the season, right-hander Usman Khan treated the Gladiators bowlers with disdain, reaching his 50 off 22.

Usman then accelerated even further, collecting his next 50 off 14 deliveries to reach his 100 in just 36 balls, breaking the record for the fastest century in Pakistan Super League history.

The record was earlier held by his Multan Sultans teammate and Protea batter Rilee Russouw (41).

2. Highest total: Sultans’ 262 is the highest single-inning total in Pakistan Super League history. The 2nd highest score in the tournament (243) also belongs to Rizwan and co. and came just a couple of matches back.

3. Most aggregate sixes: Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators struck 17 and 16 maximums each as a record 33 sixes were registered in the 28th match of 2023 HBL PSL.

Global Records

1. Most expensive T20 spell: Quetta Gladiators and AFG spinner Qais Ahmed was murdered throughout in a spell that now allows him to hold the esteemed record for leaking most runs in a T20 match. Qais gave 77 off his 4 over quota, 27 of which came off his first.

2. Highest aggregate T20 runs ever: Thanks to the belter of a pitch and subpar bowling from both sides, a total of 515 runs were scored in the match. Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators surpassed the 501-run mark set last year by domestic franchises Titans and Knights in the CSA T20 challenge.
