Reporter asks Urvashi Rautela to forgive Rishabh Pant, the actress’ reply goes viral

Urvashi Rautela almost ends the spat with Rishabh Pant by apologizing and later denies by saying that her words have been misinterpreted.

The controversy between Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant and Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela is yet again gaining attention across social media as Urvashi has apparently come up with an apology for the cricketer. While talking to a reporter from Instant Bollywood about the spat with Rishabh Pant, Urvashi was seen saying ‘sorry’ with folded hands. While some fans appreciated Urvashi for ending the argument, some found it fishy.

The controversy initially started a few weeks back when Urvashi Rautela named ‘Mr. RP’ in one of her interviews. Though she only used an abbreviated form and refused the take the full name of the person in the interview, it was understood that she was talking about Rishabh Pant. Both had allegedly dated each other for some time in 2018. Replying to what she said in the interview, Rishab Pant went on to respond via an Instagram story and stated that Urvashi was only lying in order to gain fame. Later Urvashi as well did the same and gave a furious reply.

Since then, the war of words was assumed to have ended as Rishabh Pant did not reply further. Urvashi Rautela even attended some of the Asia Cup matches of Team India after this incident. However, earlier this week, the actress was asked by a reporter to say something about the spat with Rishabh Pant. Surprisingly, she went on to apologize to the cricketer.

Urvashi Rautela apologizes to Rishabh Pant and denies it later

In the video, it can be seen that when the reporter asks Urvashi to leave a message for Rishabh Pant, she goes on to think for a moment and then says, “sorry, I’m sorry” and does so with folded hands. As soon as the video of this incident was posted on social media, the fans took it by surprise. It wasn’t expected that the actress would apologize, therefore it took no time for the video to go viral.

While some fans were appreciating the actress’ act of apologizing and ending the controversy, the actress again took to her Instagram story and wrote that her words have been misinterpreted. “That sorry was for my fans and loved ones that I had nothing to say,” Urvashi wrote. Hence, the disagreement seems to continue between both sides.
