CSA T20 League: MS Dhoni may mentor the new team

Another T20 league in the form of CSA T20 League is taking shape with as many as 6 IPL franchise owners bidding for the teams and winning it successfully. CSK bid the highest for the Johannesburg franchise and swept the team towards their side in the auction. As per the reports, -the name of the team is going to be Johannesburg Super Kings and the official announcement of the same will be made soon.

Since the management of the Chennai Super Kings has been super successful so far, the fans may witness almost a similar outlook of the coaching staff for CSK’s team in CSA T20 League. Stephen Fleming may be seen as the head coach and while CSK wants MS Dhoni to mentor the new team, it will only happen after BCCI gives a go-ahead for the same.

It is to note that many IPL franchises had earlier requested BCCI to allow Indian players to participate in foreign leagues to which the Indian Cricket Board has acquiesced to an extent. However, they have made it clear that only non-contracted players can participate in leagues other than the Indian Premier League. Domestic players will have a great opportunity this way as they can showcase their skills. It is surely going to be interesting for the fans if Indian players can participate in the first edition of the CSA T20 League.
