Virat Kohli displeased with the invasion of privacy in the Perth Hotel room
A video of Virat’s hotel room was taken and shared online with the title ‘King Kohli’s Hotel Room’. As the star batter discovered this footage, he was shocked with the level of fanaticism and was furious with the offender.
Virat shared the video that has been circulated on Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms as he slammed the person who leaked the video of his hotel room.
Virat took to Instagram and wrote, “I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all??”
Virat requested cricket fans to respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment. The shared video showed Virat’s room with shoes, suitcases, a visual of the room’s washroom, and some personal belongings.
Virat has 221 million followers on Instagram and he has always been in limelight for some reason or other. Whether Virat scores a ton or fails to score, there’s always a hell lot of response on social media and the run machine has previously warned multiple times that fans should not cross the line.
Virat got support from his fans who criticized this invasion of privacy and expressed their concerns in the comments section. Aussie batter David Warner too criticized the act and said it was ridiculous and totally unacceptable.
