Rohit clearing his thoughts on the role of players in the world cup
Rohit added in his statement said that Virat Kohli is our third opener and he will open in some of the matches. In the last game of the Asia Cup, we were happy with the way he played. But KL Rahul will open the batting in the t20 World Cup, his performance sometimes goes quite unnoticed.”
Rohit on KL Rahul’s importance and role in the world cup
“Rahul is a very important player for India. For us, I just want to make it clear, that we are clear in our thought process. We do not have any confusion, we are very clear about what KL Rahul brings to the table for us, he is a quality cricketer and is very crucial for us. His presence at the top is very crucial for us,” Sharma said to Rahul.
