A local-level cricketer shocked the cricketing legends with his incredible fielding skills in a tennis ball match. Arguably the greatest batsman ever Sachin Tendulkar and former English captain Michael Vaughan heaped praise on the player on social media.

The fielder’s name is Kiran Tarlekar and he is from Belgaum, Karnataka. The tournament in which Kiran showed his incredible fielding skill is Shree Chashak 2023. It is a yearly tennis ball tournament played in Thane.

Kiran Tarlekar’s outrageous mix of football skills in cricket is getting highly appreciated on social media. In the viral video, the batter clubbed an outside off-delivery over mid-wicket hoping that it would easily go all the way but Kiran had other plans.

Fielder situated at deep mid-wicket launched himself in the air and grabbed the ball with one hand. After plucking the ball Kiran did the hard part with some perfection. He balanced himself while landing but the momentum of the ball took him out of the boundary line.

Kiran dealt with the momentum efficiently as he threw the ball up into the sky. While throwing the ball Kiran did a mistake as he threw the ball over the boundary line. The player had a solution for that problem as well. He passed the ball to his teammate with some wild football skills.

Sachin Tendulkar, and Michael Vaughan praise the cricketer

The god of cricket couldn’t hold himself back after looking at the unreal catch by Kiran Tarlekar. Sachin gave a witty reply to the video on Twitter. He said “This is what happens when you bring a guy who also knows how to play football!!

On the other hand, the former English captain Michael Vaughan also praised the latter for his exceptional fielding skill. Vaughan declared it the greatest catch of all time.
