On Wednesday, the new and improved Motera Cricket stadium has been inaugurated with the Day/Night test match between India and England. Since the start of the pink ball test matches, it is India’s 3rd D/N test match. Just like as Day-Test matches, the Pink Test match has 2 sessions. Sessions/session Break In The Day-Night Test

Just like a normal day test match, a D/N Test match has three sessions and, meanwhile, there is 2 session break in the Day-Night Test. The first break is called Tea Break and the second one is called Dinner Break. Like traditional Tests, a D/N match will of 6 hrs duration; each session will be of 2 hrs. And there will have to be bowled 90 overs per day.

What Is Tea And Dinner Break Time Duration?

As per the ICC, there will be three sessions in the D/N test match and 2 session breaks i.e. tea and dinner break. In Day-Night Test matches the time duration for tea break is 20 minutes and for the dinner break is 40 minutes.

Test Match Sessions Timing

First Session: 2:30 PM to 4:30

Second Session: 4:40 PM to 6:50PM

Third Session: 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

It is worth mentioning that all these timings can be change according to the situation of the match.

Motera Cricket Stadium Inaugurated With India vs England Day-Night Test

On Wednesday, the improved Motera stadium locks its horn with India vs England third test match of the ongoing test series. The newly built stadium in Ahmedabad now officially becomes the Worlds biggest stadium with a capacity of 1,10000 heads. The stadium is named Narendra Modi Stadium after the Indian Prime minister’s name.

Let you all know that, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind came as chief guest to inaugurate the worlds biggest stadium which is situated in Ahmedabad. The President also performed the Bhumi Pujan of the Sardar Patel Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave, and the stadium will be its part.

India vs England 3rd Test: So Far Summary

Earlier in the match, England after winning the toss opted to bat first at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. Meanwhile, in the first inning, England’s batting collapsed as they lost 8 wickets in just 43 overs for only 104 runs. Currently, India’s is dominating in the early stage of the match. Indian spinners R Ashwin and Axar Patel bolwed very nicely and out the opposition in back foot. So far in the match, R Ashwin took 3 and Axar patel 4  crucial wickets of English team.
