The pitch in the Sharjah Cricket Stadium has gone through a major turnaround from the last year. In the 13th season of the IPL where it was seen as the batters’ arena, now the scenario is completely opposite. In the recently concluded 14th season of the IPL, it was seen that the batsmen found it difficult to get going here. The spinners got an ample bit of assistance from the pitch and the medium pacers could benefit from it as well.

A similar sort of wickets would be seen in Sharjah in the entire T20 World Cup. The batsmen, hence, will find it tough to play their shots and eventually low totals will be recorded.
