The batsman continued his flop show in the match against Punjab Kings on Saturday, where he scored a run-a-ball 12. Shaun Pollock thinks that the SRH batters are very relaxed about the task at hand. They don’t take too much pressure to perform well, however the former South African player also thinks that the players need to step up and give solid performances for their franchise.

“We are still asking – when is his performance coming to justify his continuous selection in the side? It is difficult to pick out one individual but over a space of eight games, surely people need to be producing more than what we’ve seen,” Shaun Pollock said on Cricbuzz.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is at the bottom of the table and has no chance whatsoever to qualify for the playoffs. Their dismal performance continued in the match against Punjab Kings where they failed to achieve even a small target of 126. It is just a formality for them now to play the rest of the matches and get it over with. The team has 2 points for their show in the 9 matches they have played so far. The team would definitely want to come out stronger in the next season.
