The countdown for the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup is nearing its end. The highly-anticipated mega tournament will get underway on October 5. Meanwhile, all ten participating teams were occupied in playing the warm-up games to adapt to the conditions. On the other hand, few of the games were abandoned without a ball being bowled owing to persistent rains and drizzles.
During the warm-up game between Pakistan and Australia, a fielding mishap featuring two Pakistani players grabbed the eyeballs of the cricket fraternity. It was a fielding error that could easily been avoided had it not been for miscommunication between the players. However, Pakistani players were caught involved in a hilarious fielding attempt, which left the internet in splits.
Shikhar Dhawan savagely trolls Pakistan fielders on social media
India’s experienced cricketer Shikhar Dhawan took to his X handle (previously known as Twitter) and hilariously trolled Pakistan fielders for their fielding effort. The likes of Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Wasim Jr. The clip begins with both Pakistani players trying to stop the ball but as it turns out, they end up committing a big blunder as the duo makes a complete mess on the field by missing the ball.
Shikhar Dhawan found the video clip funny as he not only shared it on his handle but also added a caption that reads, “Pakistan & fielding never-ending love story #PakistanFielding #PakCricket.”

The warm-up game between Pakistan and Australia is being held at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. The Men in Yellow led by Pat Cummins posted a formidable total of 351/7 in their quota of 50 overs.

Glenn Maxwell top-scored with 77 off 71 balls including 5 fours and 6 sixes whereas Cameron Green remained unbeaten on 50 off 40 balls (4 fours and a six). On the contrary, Pakistan’s Usama Mir accounted for two dismissals, giving away 31 runs in five overs. The likes of Mohammad Wasim Jr, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf took a wicket each.
