Sourav Ganguly commits a blunder; reveals confidential brand project featuring Rohit Sharma, Kapil, Deepika Padukone

The BCCI brand ambassador Sourav Ganguly unwittingly shared the post and makes a big blunder in it.

Sourav Ganguly reveals the secrets of the mega collab with cricketers and Bollywood celebrities in a Twitter post resulting in a huge upset for the E-commerce site.

Rohit Sharma, Sourav Ganguly, Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandana, Kapil Sharma, and Trisha are part of mega projects named mega-blockbuster as they also share its poster on their social media accounts on Thursday.

It is a brand promotional campaign for an eCommerce site named meesho. But It seems Meesho didn’t want to reveal itself as the company behind ‘Mega Blockbuster’. Celebrities involved in the promotional stunt were likely sent a script to share while uploading their poster.

Sourav Ganguly’s social media team mistakenly copy-pasted the whole script including the instruction: “Please ensure that Meesho brand name or Meesho hashtag is nowhere mentioned in the September 1 post.”

After that, he rectifies his mistake and deletes the post on social media but fans take a screenshot of it and they are circulating on social media now.

But everything was ruined for the brand that was using these celebrities to promote their forthcoming sale.

The Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone wrote, “Surprise,”. Comedian Kapil Sharma said, “Yeh wali mere fans ke liye. Hope aapko pasand aaye . #TrailerOut4thSept #MegaBlockbuster.” The south actor  Rashmika Mandana said, “Fun stuff,” and actor Karthi wrote, “Stay tuned to find out more…!” Trisha said that she cannot keep her calm for Mega Blockbuster.

Now, Sourav’s Ganguly new post seems to caption like “It was fun shooting for it! The new Mega Blockbuster is releasing soon! ​ #TrailerOut4thSept #MegaBlockbuster,” Ganguly’s present caption to this Instagram post now reads. Indian captain Rohit Sharma was excited about the new project as they wrote, “Butterflies in my stomach. A debut of a kind.” In this post, Suryakumar Yadav wrote, “ye kis line me a gaye aap?”

It can be the marketing strategy also by the Sourav Ganguly media team but seems it is not because if it is then the post cannot be deleted by his team.

The details, as per celeb promos, eCommerce site meesho collaboration mega-blockbusters will be revealed on Sunday.
