Nowadays, people have different tastes, and what might be termed fancy to one person may not be the same for another. Nevertheless, it is advisable to be respectful when expressing opinions about someone’s appearance, including their clothing choices. Some harsh or negative remarks about someone’s dressing style can lead to discomfort or offence. Recently, a Sri Lankan commentator, Roshan Abeysinghe came under fire for passing a distasteful comment on Mayanti Langer’s dressing style.

India’s popular female sports presenter Mayanti Langer and commentator Sunil Gavaskar were seen reflecting on their views about the thrilling semi-final between South Africa and Australia, which took place at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The game witnessed a low-scoring affair, which saw both teams having a go at each other in most parts of the game. However, in the end, Australia had the last laugh in the battle as they won the game by three wickets to reach the final.
