Sri Lanka is all set to host Australia for over a month-long tour that consists of 3 T20Is, 5 ODIs, and 2 Tests. The Aaron Finch-led Australian side has already landed in Sri Lanka on Wednesday. The tour will start with the T20Is, the first one of which is to be played at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday, June 7. The second T20 will be played in the same venue the very next day. Earlier this year when Sri Lanka toured Australia for a 5-match T20 series, they had to suffer a 4-1 defeat. Australia, on the other hand, after the Sri Lanka series has played just a single T20 game, against Pakistan. And have managed to win it comfortably. Interestingly, this will be the Austalia’s first tour to Sri Lanka in 6 years.

Australia has announced their squads for all three formats whereas Sri Lanka is yet to announce their ODI and Test squads. Aaron Finch will be leading the Australian side in the limited-overs formats whereas Pat Cummins will be captaining the test side. Cummins, however, will be available for Australia only from the ODIs. For Srilanka, the star leg-spinning all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga will be making a comeback in this series. Dasun Shanaka will be leading the Sri Lankan side.
