When Pant nearly hit DK on his helmet
It happened in the recent fixture between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders. In the seventeenth over of the Delhi innings, Pant trying to smash a delivery by Chakravarthy, edged the ball onto the pitch. The ball after hitting the ground bounced towards the stumps and Pant while trying to save the ball from hitting the stumps, swayed the bat to keep the ball away.
However, he missed the ball completely and the bat swung close to Dinesh Karthik who was keeping very close to the stumps. The bat nearly missed hitting the helmet of Dinesh Karthik as DK managed to pull his body back at the right moment. This incident gave a scare to everyone for an instance.

DK who was focusing on collecting the ball did pretty well to back off or it would’ve been pretty dangerous for the KKR keeper. The commentators as well were surprised by the sudden flick of the bat by Pant. Sunil Gavaskar who was commentating at that point of time termed it as “WWF kind of stuff.”

Rishabh Pant though immediately turned back realizing his mistake and had a check on the senior wicket-keeper. Both had a laugh as well.
