On Thursday, the first semi-final of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2020 between India women and England Women have been washed out due to rain. And hence, India booked a place in the final as they finished their group on top with four wins out of four games. Let you all know that there was no reserve day for the semis in the ongoing tournament. After England women get knocked out of the tournament without playing semi-final English cricketer Stuart Broad is not at all happy with ICC.
English veteran Men’s cricketer Stuart Broad has taken a dig at ICC (International Cricket Council) after rain spoiled the first semi-final of the ongoing world cup. He took to Instagram to express his disappointment after the England women team rule out of the tournament.

On Thursday, after the first semifinal of the t20 world washed out, ICC shared the news of India’s team qualifying to the final through their social media handle. ICC on Instagram shared a picture of the Sydney Cricket Ground along with news of India’s qualification for the finals. They have uploaded the picture with the caption, “The first #T20WorldCup semi-final between India and England has been abandoned due to rain. As winners of Group A, India have qualified for the final for the first time in their history ?? #INDvENG #Cricket.”
As soon as English cricketer Stuart Broad read the caption, he could not stop him to react over the Instagram post. He lashed out at the International Cricket Council (ICC) for not scheduling a reserve day for the Women’s T20 World Cup semi-finals.

Earlier Cricket Australia had revealed that ICC did not grant permission to have a reserve day for the semi-finals despite being informed of the bad weather beforehand. If the second game also gets abandoned due to the rain, South Africa will qualify for the final in a very similar fashion.Â
Now India will meet the winner of the second semi-final in the final at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Sunday.
