Earlier Cricket Australia had revealed that ICC did not grant permission to have a reserve day for the semi-finals despite being informed of the bad weather beforehand. If the second game also gets abandoned due to the rain, South Africa will qualify for the final in a very similar fashion.
Now India will meet the winner of the second semi-final in the final at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Sunday.
