Sunrisers Hyderabad tease Rajasthan Royals on Twitter after their victory

After winning their match against Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, Sunrisers Hyderabad have kept their playoffs hopes alive. In their previous meeting, Rajasthan Royals got the better of the Hyderabad side as they won the game by 5 wickets. However, this time Sunrisers Hyderabad were all set to give RR the taste of their own medicine.

The win for Hyderabad came at a very crucial time as all the teams have played most of their games and are battling for their berth in the playoffs. It was a clinical win for Sunrisers Hyderabad as they outperformed Rajasthan Royals in all the departments. Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bowl first and their bowlers proved the decision right.

Though Ben Stokes and Robin Uthappa gave RR a flying start, Hyderabad bowlers kept chipping in with wickets and didn’t allow the RR batsmen to settle. As a result, Royals could only manage 154 runs in their quota of 20 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad didn’t start their inning well as they lost both their openers by the third over only.

However, the duo of Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar made sure that there were no more hiccups and Sunrisers Hyderabad cruised to a win. Both the Indian batsmen added 140 runs and took their team home quite easily. After the win, Sunrisers Hyderabad trolled the Rajasthan Royals with a tweet.

Sunrisers Hyderabad took their revenge on Twitter

After their previous meeting, Rajasthan Royals had trolled Hyderabad as they tweeted, “Hey @Zomato, we’d like to place an order for one LAAAAARGE Hyderabadi Biryani. Location: One & Only Royal Mirage.”

Now after their win against RR, Sunrisers Hyderabad trolled the Royals tweeting, “Cancel the biryani order our friends can’t handle the level of spice. P.S : Daal baati should just do fine.” After winning against the Royals on the field, the Sunrisers won it off the field too for sure. Rajasthan Royals surrendered to the tweet and wrote, “Not hungry tonight.”

As for the league, the battle for the 4th position is still on with 5 teams battling for it. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore have more or less confirmed their seats in the playoffs.
