As years are passing by IPL legends are retiring from the game. MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are among the few names who played in the inaugural season of the cash-rich league and are still in the competition. This year, the likes of DJ Bravo, Kieron Pollard hung their boots but the name which surprised the most was Suresh Raina who retired at the age of 35.
Known as Mr. IPL, Raina went unsold in the 2022 auction which led him to take the decision and explore lower-level leagues like the T10 league. The southpaw was only playing IPL since his international retirement and despite winning the title with CSK in 2021, Suresh Raina’s performance was criticized.

Suresh Raina is now looking forward to pursuing a career as a commentator and part-time cricketer. The 36-year-old has signed with Jio Cinema for their discussion show on IPL Auction. Remind you that Viacom18-owned Jio Cinema is the official streaming partner of the Indian Premier League.
RCB Legend AB de Villiers who also retired early is also set for his maiden stint as a cricket expert. Chris Gayle and Anil Kumble are also part of the panel. However, Chris Gayle has not announced his retirement and is still eligible to play IPL but he didn’t register for this year’s auction.
