The Australian cricketer Chris Lynn is quite popular for his ruthless batting and his ability to hit gigantic sixes. He has showcased his big-hitting skills many times and the same was on display in the 11th match of the T20 Blast 2022 which took place on May 27th. The right-handed batsman played a blistering knock for his side which helped them win the game.

T20 Blast 2022: Chris Lynn’s monstrous hit

T20 Blast 2022 kickstarted on 25th May with the match between Yorkshire and Worcestershire and since then 15 matches have been played so far. The 11th match was played between Northamptonshire and Durham where Chris Lynn played a quickfire knock of 83 which took his team to a massive total of 223. During his inning, Lynn played a shot which has been garnering a lot of attention from the netizens.

Chris Lynn looked in sublime touch as he hit the opponent bowlers left, right and centre. The Australian batsman was involved in a 149-run opening partnership with the opener Ben Curran and continued even after his partner departed. While he was thrashing the Durham bowlers, one of the sixes that Lynn hit landed into one of the resident’s backyard near the County Ground in Northampton. The 11th match of the T20 Blast 2022 is in the news owing to the monstrous hit by Lynn.

The CCTV footage of the same was shared by the resident and it has since gone viral. It is to note that Lynn was released by his Big Bash League team Brisbane Heat lately and it looks like the batsman is here to make a statement with his performance in T20 Blast 2022. Northamptonshire won the match by 31 runs as Durham fell short of their target. Durham’s captain Ashton Turner was playing brilliantly but had to retire hurt after dislocating his shoulder which dented Durham’s inning to an extent and they ended up losing the game.
