With the T20 World Cup 2021 being less than 3 months away, the cricket pundits have started making predictions on the event. Many former cricketers have also joined the party and listed the Squad they would pick for the T20 World Cup 2021. Former Indian Cricketer, Saba Karim, surprised everyone by not picking Yuzvendra Chahal in his squad.
Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket-taker for team India in the T20Is currently. He has grabbed 63 wickets in 49 T20 matches with an average of 25.30. Karim also didn’t go with Shami as a fast bowling option.

Karim didn’t give a place to Shikar Dhawan in the team on account of his ordinary performances in the T20Is. Instead, Karim went with KL Rahul for his T20 World Cup Squad.
Impressed with their good performances in the early stages of their carrier, Karim selected Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav both. For the middle order, Karim also gave Shreyas Iyer a place in his squad. He said that though Iyer didn’t play the first leg of the IPL, he had a decent tournament last year.
Despite the subordinary performances of Hardik Pandya recently, Karim selected Pandya in his squad. Jadeja was also given a place by Karim, in his T20 World Cup squad. Karim selected Washington Sundar as well, stating that the team might benefit from his Off-spin.
