Earlier, BCCI shortlisted six cities out of which two will be selected as the official entries in the 15th edition. These cities were; Ranchi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Ranchi and Cuttack. It is to note that Ahmedabad and Lucknow are ahead of the other cities. A source said that BCCI would prefer Indian buyers over an off-shore company, however, power equations can change the script dramatically.
