MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings set yet another example of camaraderie when earlier this week they celebrated the birthday of their net bowler Rocky Warney. Rocky posted a video of the celebrations and expressed his gratitude to the CSK franchise and the captain MS Dhoni. It was evident from the post how special his day was made by the kind gesture of the CSK management.
As written by Rocky in his post, it was a surreal experience for him, and he termed the day, i.e. the 7th of March 2022, as an unforgettable day in his life. Rocky was overjoyed by the treatment he received from his teammates and captain MS Dhoni. Being very pleased by the gesture of the CSK franchise, Rocky went on to write on Twitter,- “Thanks to the CSK management/team/ and the greatest of all time – MS Dhoni (sir) for being so sweet!”
Birthday celebrations at the CSK camp in Surat
The Chennai Super Kings are currently preparing for the upcoming season of the IPL in a pre-season camp in Surat. The IPL 2022 kick starts on March 26 with the CSK vs KKR encounter at the Wankhede Stadium. Amid the preparations for the next season, the CSK side indulged themselves in a fun gathering where they celebrated one of their net bowlers’ birthdays.

In the video that Rocky Garney posted, it can be seen that the entire CSK team and management gathered in the team hotel in order to celebrate his birthday. Captain MS Dhoni was even heard saying on a funnier note – “Cake kon lagayega (Who will apply the cake)”.

The IPL 2022 will be played across four venues in Mumbai and Pune from March 26 to May 29. It will be for the first time after 2011 that a 10-team IPL will be played. While most of the teams are yet to start their preparations for the season, the defending champions are already into full-fledged training with most of their main players already in the Surat camp.

MS Dhoni’s side would be hoping for the quick recovery of Deepak Chahar, who was the second most expensive player in the auction and is currently suffering from a right quadriceps injury.
