Team India’s young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal has got multiple tattoos inked on his body which depict some crucial days of his cricketing journey. One such tattoo imprinted on his body is the ’16-10-2019′ Tattoo which represents one of the most special dates of the young cricketer’s career.

The Mumbai-based cricketer has gone through a lot of ups and downs right through his childhood. On 16th October 2019 he played one of the most impressive knocks of his career in the domestic circuit.

’16-10-2019′ Tattoo represents the date on which Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed double hundred

Jaiswal smashed a double hundred in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Jharkhand on October 16, 2019. He also became the youngest batter in the world to score a double hundred in 50-over cricket including List A and ODIs.

This innings was a huge morale booster for Yashasvi as it gave him the confidence that he can bat amongst the best in the world. Hence the young batter decided to imprint the ’16-10-2019′ Tattoo on his body.

Jaiswal scored 203 off just 154 deliveries which included 12 maximums and 17 fours and helped the Mumbai side put on a total of 358-3 against Jharkhand at Alur, Bengaluru in a Vijay Hazare trophy Elite Group A clash.

At 17 years 292 days, Yashasvi Jaiswal broke the record of being the youngest player to score a double hundred in List A cricket. Previously, this record was held by Alan Barrow, who scored a double century at the age of 20 years, 273 days in South Africa’s domestic cricket way back in the year 1975.

Jaiswal has also got the words ‘believe’ and ‘trust’ tattooed on his body. On one side of his stomach, he has imprinted the crucial days of his cricketing journey which includes the date of his debut in the IPL, Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Meanwhile, after having a great IPL 2023 season for his franchise Rajasthan Royals, Yashasvi Jaiswal made his test debut in the series against West Indies on July 12. He smashed a hundred on his test debut eventually scoring 171 runs as he took on the West Indies bowling lineup right from the word go.
