After the midway halt in the Indian Premier League, Indian fans are eagerly waiting for the very first ICC Test Championship final which is going to be held in Rose Bowl, Southampton. Team India and New Zealand will be locking horns in the final starting on June 18. An interesting fact about the match is that this will be team India’s first ever Test at a neutral venue. The travel details of Indian team have been confirmed.

After the El Classico of Test cricket, team Indian will be engaged in a five match Test series with England. There has been a lot of speculations about the travel details of Indian team considering the drastic Covid situation in India. The postponement of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League was a result of the second wave of Coronavirus in the country.

For the uninitiated, the women’s team also have fixtures to play around the same time and it has been decided that both men’s and women’s teams will be travelling together in the same plane. This is going to be the first ever incident where both the men’s and women’s Indian team will be travelling in the same chartered flight. Women’s team will start their tour with a momentous Test against England which will be starting on June 16.

The teams will be in quarantine in India first and will leave for England on June 2 from Mumbai. Having reached England, the teams will be in isolation for a week, after which they will be allowed to train for the upcoming matches. These are the travel details of Indian team and both the men’s and women’s team will be sharing the flight for the first time ever.
