Controversies erupted after the RCB vs DC IPL 2023 game on April 15 as Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly didn’t shake hands with each other. Adding a new episode to the controversy, Virat Kohli unfollowed Sourav Ganguly on Instagram after which he has got various reactions from different Twitter users.

There were two incidents during the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium that caught the attention of cricket fans. During the 18th over of the Delhi Capitals’ innings, Virat Kohli took a brilliant catch to dismiss Aman Hakim Khan.

After taking the catch, Virat Kohli celebrated with his teammates and then started walking back towards his fielding position near the boundary rope. The RCB batter gave a death stare to Sourav Ganguly who’s the director of cricket at Delhi Capitals and was seated at the dugout.

The RCB side eventually defeated Delhi Capitals by 23 runs after which players and staff members from both sides queued up to shake hands. However, in a video, it can be seen that Sourav Ganguly jumped the queue to avoid having a handshake with Virat Kohli, who had by then been spotted chatting with Ricky Ponting, head coach of the DC franchise.

Both the videos have gone viral on social media and have received mixed reactions from cricket fans as both Ganguly and Kohli get a lot of love and respect from the entire country.
