In the game between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings Arjun Tendulkar bowled the joint most expensive over of this IPL. In the final over of Punjab’s innings, he conceded 31 runs. Despite his poor last over he bowled an absolute ripper at the top to get rid of Prabhsimran. Twitter reacts to Arjun Tendulkar’s toe-crusher to take the wicket of Prabhsimran.
Arjun defended 21 runs against SRH in the final over
In MI’s last game, Arjun Tendulkar defended 21 runs under pressure against Sunrisers Hyderabad. After looking at Arjun’s ability to bowl yorkers captain Rohit Sharma again showed faith in him and gave him another final over of innings in the very next game.
Unfortunately, the youngster couldn’t live up to his captain’s expectations and he went for 31 runs in the last over of his spell. Although all the MI bowlers got brutal treatment by Punjab batters Arjun has the worst figures of them all.

One thing that has been noticed in the short career of Arjun Tendulkar is that he has absolute control over his yorkers. He can even bowl them with the new ball which we saw in the Punjab Kings game.
In the first over after the powerplay, Arjun broke a 47 runs partnership between Prabhsimran and Taide. His inswinging yorker took dangerous-looking Prabhsmiran’s wicket on 26 runs.

Till now the youngster has been criticized a lot due to nepotism. On Twitter, people hardly appreciate his skills as he is a nepotism product while some even said that he is next Malinga by looking at his yorkers.
Twitter reactions
A Twitter user defended Arjun as he is still young. He tweeted “He will be lethal if he starts bowling at 140+ regularly. And please, if he’s a product of nepotism, don’t cry guys, nepotism is fine if this lad has talent”.

Whereas one user defended Arjun while most of them kept criticizing him. The biggest criticism he faces is because of his lack of pace while bowling. One of the users mocked him “If u can’t defend this yorker man what a batter u r”
