Kolkata Knight Riders took on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023 game on April 26 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. After the RCB vs KKR game, a picture went viral on social media in which Rinku Singh could be seen touching Virat Kohli’s feet as cricket fans loved the gesture.

The picture garnered great attention and cricket fans made it viral on social media. Virat Kohli is a great role model for all the youngsters in the country and Rinku Singh’s gesture won the hearts of cricket fans. However, it did look like the picture was morphed and doctored. 

One of the Twitter user wrote, “Rinku singh touched Virat Kohli’s feet God of Cricket @imVkohli.” Another netizen posted the picture along with the caption,”Rinku Singh showed Virat Kohli respect by touching his feet.”

Virat Kohli had earlier praised Rinku Singh after his knock against the Gujarat Titans. Rinku Singh had smashed five sixes in a row against Yash Dayal in the final over of KKR’s innings and helped his side chase down the mammoth target of 205 runs against the defending champions.

“What the youngsters are doing today is amazing to see. Look at this IPL, I couldn’t even think of doing stuff what these young guys are doing. Just the other night, Rinku Singh hits 5 Sixes in last 5 balls which is amazing & never happened something like that,” Virat said after the KKR vs GT clash.

“Coming in an hitting five sixes in a row to win a match, I mean what level is this? So that transition is happening is great. It is great to see such youngsters coming up,” the star RCB batter further added.

Rinku Singh scored a quick-fire 10-ball 18 in the RCB vs KKR game. Opening batter Jason Roy smashed 56 runs off just 29 deliveries while skipper Nitish Rana scored 48 runs off 21 deliveries and took Kolkata Knight Riders to a huge total of 200-5 in their 20 overs.

Virat Kohli played an impressive knock of 54 runs off just 37 deliveries including 6 boundaries. However, he didn’t get much support from other RCB batters. Royal Challengers Bangalore eventually fell short by 21 runs as they couldn’t tackle the spin duo of Suyash Sharma and Varun Chakaravarthy as the two spinners shared 5 wickets between them.
