It looks like Team India has got quite accustomed to making comebacks in every series they play. If we look at the past few series the team has played, they have always come back stronger after facing a defeat in a match. The latest in their list of comebacks is the series against England where the team fought back in the fourth Test match after losing the third match. Apart from their sensational win, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli is earning praise for one beautiful gesture.

After the humiliation in Leeds, team India came all guns blazing in the Oval Test where all the players were instrumental in the victory. It all started with Shardul Thakur’s counter-attacking half-century in the first inning which took the team to a respectable total. The bowlers did a great job by wrapping the England team on just 290 on a batting paradise.

Amidst all the excitement of the match, there was one small moment involving Virat Kohli which has caught the attention of many and the pictures of the same are going viral online. It was on Day 5 after the Indian victory when Joe Root and Virat Kohli were heading back to the pavilion. Both the skippers spotted a plastic bottle on the way.

While Joe Root just ignored the bottle and walked sideways, Virat Kohli picked up the bottle and took it with him. This gesture by the Indian skipper is being lauded by the fans online and they are showering him with praise. After the great comeback in the series, Indian fans were elated and this gesture by Virat Kohli was the icing on the cake.

Though the English team got a 99-run lead in the first inning, Indian batsmen were all up for a fightback as they notched up a huge score of 466, giving a stiff target of 368 to the English team. The bowlers were exceptional as they bowled the England team out on just 210, on a pitch that was batting friendly. The fifth and the last match of the series will be played in Manchester from the 10th of September.
