The fans witnessed vintage Kohli in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League where Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans faced each other. The Indian cricket fans were waiting for Virat Kohli to get amongst the runs as the star Indian batsman has had a dry spell for quite a long time. After a great outing against Gujarat, Kohli expressed his desire to win these two tournaments for team India.
It was a sight for sore eyes as Virat Kohli looked in good touch and made a match-winning contribution in a crucial game for his franchise. The win against Gujarat has kept their chances of making it to the playoffs alive and the fans couldn’t be happier as Kohli was instrumental in the win. He scored 73 runs in just 54 deliveries which sealed the game for his team and he was awarded the Man of the Match award.
Virat Kohli wants to win these two tournaments
In the post-match presentation, Virat Kohli revealed that he wants to win the upcoming Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup for team India. The Asia cup will commence on 27th August this year while the T20 World Cup will begin on 16th October. Team India will look to make amends as they had a rather forgettable outing in the last year’s T20 World Cup.

“I know how motivated I will be when the scores start coming. I want to win India the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup; that’s the motivation. I have to move forward maintain a balance, get some rest, and some rejuvenation, once I’m in the mindset then there’s no looking back and… it’s great fun. My main aim is to help India win the Asia Cup and the World Cup and for that, I am ready to do anything for the team,” said Virat Kohli.

The fans must be really excited as Virat Kohli storms back into form and will hope for him to continue the same. As for IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore are still in contention to make it to the playoffs, however, their fate is not in their hands anymore. They are depending on the results of other matches to go their way if at all they want to qualify for the playoffs.
