Rohit Sharma opted to bat first in the game after winning the toss. The Indian batsmen scored 246 runs before the skipper declared the inning. The Indian bowlers wrapped up the Leicestershire batting on just 244 taking a lead of a meagre 2 runs. However, on the second day of the match, Virat Kohli gets angry on a fan as he mistreated Kamlesh Nagarkoti who is with the team as a net bowler.
The second day of the warm-up game witnessed an angry Virat Kohli, who after noticing that a fan was misbehaving with Kamlesh Nagarkoti talked to him. The former Indian captain addressed the fan from the balcony and told him not to mistreat the Indian player. The fan tried to explain himself but Kohli’s anger was evident as he did not like the behaviour of the fan.

The Indian team is touring England where they will play the rescheduled 5th Test of India’s tour of England 2021. The Test will get underway on 01st July and will be followed by 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs. The Indian team has started their prep for the upcoming T20 World Cup which is going to be held in Australia in October-November. Team India will tour West Indies after they finish their England tour. The team is scheduled to play 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is against the Caribbean team.
