The report further added that Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list with 199.4 million searches whereas Neymar comes next on the list with 140.9 million searches.

Lionel Messi comes third on the list with 104.4 million searches whereas Basketball great LeBron James follows next with 72.1 million searches. It is cognizance of the fact that Virat Kohli is the most-followed cricketer on social media. Moreover, he is also the most-followed Asian on the Instagram platform with over 261 million followers.  Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently part of India’s squad for the ongoing edition of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
