MS Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the best cricketers and captains the game of cricket has ever seen. His unorthodox ways of doing things on the field earned him a great fan base and people around the world heaps praises on the former India captain. As India is touring Australia, fans are missing Thala on the field and are expressing their love for him through posters.

MS Dhoni has arguably been the best Indian captain winning all the three ICC trophies. Even after he handed over his reigns to Virat Kohli, the two shared a great bond with each other. Kohli was often seen going to Dhoni for advice and never shied away from accepting that Dhoni will always be his captain. Dhoni retired from international cricket on August 15 leaving the fans teary-eyed.

Fans miss MS Dhoni

Team India is touring Australia currently and have been proving their mettle as a team. After losing the first two ODIs, Virat and his boys came back strongly winning the third ODI and clinching the T20 series as well. The team got an unassailable 2-0 lead in the T20 series with a game left. Dhoni is continuing to play in IPL, however fans are missing him on the tour donning the blue jersey.

For the unversed, the fans have been allowed to enter the stadiums and cheer for their team. In the second T20 when Kohli was fielding in the deep, a crowd of fans was seen holding a poster saying, ‘We Miss You Dhoni’. Kohli saw the poster and immediately gestured that he is missing the former India cricketer too. The fans were elated at Kohli’s reply and screamed with joy.

The video has been doing rounds on the internet and the fans just can’t get enough of it. After winning the T20 series, the team will look to continue their winning streak in the third T20 as well. The Test series will be commencing from December 17 and the preparations for the same are in order as India A is playing practice matches against Australia A.
