The second test match between India and New Zealand was a special affair not only because India won the game, but more so because the Kiwi spinner Ajaz Patel created history by claiming all the ten Indian wickets in the first inning. The spinner ran a riot as he bowled effectively and brilliantly.  In a first, Virender Sehwag responds to Ajaz Patel’s tweet which reminded the batsman of his net practice.

Praises are being showered on the bowler for his record-breaking bowling as he became only the third bowler in the history of Test cricket after Jim Laker and Anil Kumble to pick up all the 10 wickets in an inning. Sehwag tweeted on his handle commending the Mumbai-born Kiwi bowler and Ajaz Patel reminded Sehwag of a net practice where he was thrashed by the Indian batsman. Virender Sehwag responds very nicely to Ajaz Patel’s tweet.

In his congratulatory post, Sehwag lauded Patel for his exceptional performance against India. In reply to Sehwag’s tweet, Ajaz Patel reminded Sehwag how he was smashed at the outer oval by Sehwag in the net practice. Virender Sehwag responds humbly to the tweet as he replied tweeting,

“Waqt ki aadat hai, badalta zaroor hai. What you have achieved in Mumbai is extra-ordinary so much so that India ki jeet se jyada aapke charche hain. May you achieve ever more success and good luck.”

Ajaz Patel was the only bowler who troubled the Indian batsmen throughout the second Test which India won by a huge margin of 372 runs. The Kiwi batting line-up collapsed in the first inning as they could only get to a paltry score of 62 runs in reply to India’s 325. From there, India’s win was just a formality. Team India managed to win the match quite easily, owing to great spin bowling by the Indian bowlers.
