The pitch at the Wankhede Stadium is a belter of a surface where the batters enjoy their time. The pitch has very little on offer for the bowlers. It is only in the initial few overs that the pacers may find some assistance off the pitch. For the remaining part of the innings, the batters will be seen dominating. The ball skids on the Wankhede pitch and hence the batters are able to use the pace of the bowlers. The short boundaries in the stadium as well aid the scoring rate.
