Wasim Akram is very active on Instagram and often shares pictures with his wife. On New Year’s Day, he posted a picture with his wife along with the caption, ‘Here’s hoping for a better year! Wishing you and your families all the love, safety, and prosperity for 2024. All the best from my family to yours”
Akram’s fans took to the comment section to wish him the same, and Akram thanked them back. However, one of the comments irked Akram, as an Instagram user made a seductive remark about his wife. The user had written, “Uff she is such a hotwife.”
Akram found the comment inappropriate and hit back at the Instagram user. In response, Akram wrote, “Do you think that’s the appropriate thing to say? I wish to meet your parents and tell them what have they created douche”
Shaniera Thompson is Wasim Akram’s 2nd Wife
Wasim Akram was first married to Huma Mufti in 1995. The couple had two sons named Akbar and Tahmoor. Unfortunately in 2009, the cricketer lost his wife due to multiple organ failures. She had taken her last breath at Chennai’s Appolo Hospital.

In 2011, during a visit to Melbourne, Akram met Shaniera Thompson, an Australian citizen. After a few meetings with her, the former Pakistan bowler decided to marry her, and in 2013, they tied the knot. In 2014, they were blessed with a baby girl, and now they are a family of five, including two sons from his previous marriage.
