Ajinkya Rahane Unusual Dismissal vs New Zealand: During the second day of ongoing India vs New Zealand test match, Indian batting line up looked struggling in front of the blackcaps pace attack. Meanwhile, Indian vice-captainAjinkya Rahane has also played an unconvincing inning as he struggled against short-pitch bowling.

Ajinkya Rahane came in to bat at number 5 in the 18th over of the second innings. Throughout his innings, Rahane never looked comfortable against the likes of Neil Wagner and Kyle Jamieson. And before getting out in a short delivery from de Grandhomme Indian vice-captain could manage to score only 9 off 43 balls.

Although, Ajinkya Rahane is currently in the news for not only his poor innings but also for his unusual dismissal on the second day of the test match. Actually, Rahane attempted to pull one of the deliveries from Grandhomme in an awkward manner and hence ended up chopping it on to the stumps. 

After getting out in an unusual way, he has been trolled brutally over the social media platforms for his knock. So Far Summary of the Match

Earlier in the match, after winning the toss New Zealand team invited the visitor’s team at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. Meanwhile, in the first innings, team India managed to score 242 before getting all out. In the reply, the blackcaps get all out on the score of 235 in the first innings and hence India gets lead of 7 runs.

However, despite getting lead, India is again now struggling in the match as they have lost six wickets at the end of the second day with 90 runs on the board. And now Hanuma Bihari along with Rishabh Pant will continue the innings on the day 3.
