Team India is on course for yet another victory against Zimbabwe in the 3-match ODI series they are playing against the team. The Indian bowlers were up to the task once again as they wrapped up the Zimbabwe side on a paltry 161. However, the highlight of the game so far has been an incident where Axar Patel gives angry reaction after Ishan Kishan mistakenly hit him with a throw.

Axar Patel gives angry reaction

Team India’s captain for the tour KL Rahul won the toss once again and surprisingly chose to bowl one more time. His bowlers didn’t let their skipper down and after a lull in initial 9 overs, kept chipping in with wickets as their opponent was reduced to 161 all-out within 39 overs. It was during the 28th over of the Zimbabwe inning that Axar Patel gives angry reaction after he was hit by a throw by Ishan Kishan.

The incident where Axar Patel gives angry reaction came on the second delivery of the 28th over when Deepak Hooda was bowling to Ryan Burl. The bowler bowled a short-pitch delivery which was cut by Burl towards deep extra cover where Ishan Kishan was patrolling. The fielder collected the ball and threw it towards the keeper, but the ball instead hit Axar Patel who was standing at short cover.

As the throw approached Patel, he ducked but the ball still hit him to which Axar Patel gives angry reaction. Ishan Kishan held his hand out in apology from deep extra cover after hitting the all-rounder mistakenly. As for the match, the Zimbabwe bowlers came out with intent today and have picked up four Indian wickets at the time of writing this article.

Though India has lost their 4 batsmen, they are still in very good position to win the match with only 23 runs needed in 28 overs. Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson are on crease and are looking good. The third match of the series will be played at the same venue with India planning a clean-sweep against the Zimbabwe team.
