Watch: Ayush Badoni’s six injured a female spectator during CSK vs LSG match

The newbie has looked in good touch in the two matches that he has played for Lucknow Super Giants so far.

The 7th Match of the Indian Premier League between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants turned out to be a yet another high-scoring game. After facing a defeat in their opening encounter, LSG came back strong and trumped the defending champion CSK. Lucknow franchise has got a newbie Ayush Badoni who is looking in good touch. During the match, Ayush Badoni’s six injured a female spectator while the batsman was looking to take his team home.

The young batsman made his debut in the first game of LSG and scored a fluent half-century. Though the half-century came in a losing cause, the batsman looked really confident and people took notice of him. He continued his run in the second match where he scored quickfire 19 runs. During the process, one of Ayush Badoni’s six hit a woman in the stands.

The shot came in the penultimate over of the match when Shivam Dube was bowling to Ayush Badoni. The first ball of the over was a full delivery outside off which Badoni played with great nonchalance. He moved across and swept the bowler for a maximum. Ayush Badoni’s six went straight into the stands and hit a lady. The fan was seen smiling later and was not harmed seriously.

As for the match, LSG skipper KL Rahul opted to bowl first and the CSK batsmen were up to the task as they scored a whopping 210 runs in their 20 overs. In reply, LSG batsmen came all guns blazing as the openers notched up a 99-run partnership for the first wicket. Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis scored half-centuries for their team and the Lucknow team won the match with 3 balls remaining.

CSK has now lost both their opening matches while LSG registered their first victory in the league. Chennai will be up against Punjab Kings in their next fixture on 03rd April, while Lucknow will challenge Sunrisers Hyderabad on 04th April.
